The workshop discussed the issues of voter registration and electoral systems in various countries of the world with concentration on the voter registration mechanisms and requirements in a number of Arab and foreign countries as well as comparing the various electoral systems in each country.

In addition to voter registration and electoral systems, the workshop also shed light on the basic variables of electoral systems, defining boundaries of electoral districts and the accurate criteria for drawing districts boundaries for the aim of elections.

The workshop was delivered by the CEC's Procedures and Training section with participation of IFES/ Egypt. The training included theoretical as well as practical methods.
