The Israeli Occupation authorities impose a set of obstacles hindering the flow of electoral processes in the Palestinian territory, ranging from restricting and limiting transportation and movement through its checkpoints, denying Palestinian prisoners their right to vote, all the way through prohibiting the conduction of elections in the city of Jerusalem. This violates its signed agreements with the Palestinian Liberation Organization (PLO).
