The CEC meets with the secretary-generals of the Palestinian Factions

4 August, Ramallah –   In preparations for the upcoming local elections scheduled on 22 October 2011, the CEC Chairman, Dr. Hanna Nassir met today  with secretary-generals of the Palestinian political factions. 


Issues discussed during the meeting were CEC’s preparations completed so far, elections timeline, the list of approved localities where elections will be held and latest registration statistics.


On their part, parties representatives retreated their support to the Commission  in its effort to hold fair and free elections on the assigned date.
