The CEC reviews objections to nomination of electoral lists and candidates

The CEC reviews objections to nomination of electoral lists and candidates

The Central Elections Commission (CEC) examined today four objections submitted to the nomination of an electoral list in Abu Shkhaidem on the financial clearance of the list candidates.

Upon verification of evidence confirming the financial clearance of all candidates, the CEC dismissed all objections and notified the concerned parties of its decision.

According to law, any citizen may appeal the CEC’s decision before the Elections Cases Court. The Court’s decisions are considered final.
