Registration, exhibition and challenge is now complete

The CEC completed Today the registration and challenge period for the upcoming second complementary elections which commenced last Saturday where 57 centers were opened in 36 localities across the West Bank.

During the five day period, 407 new registrants in the targeted localities were registered while no rejections were received.

The final list will be published on Saturday, April 6th in the said localities.

It should be indicated that the Cabinet has issued a decision on 12 March setting the date for the second complementary elections on 1 June 2013 in 36 localities of the west bank where elections did not take place either due to a court ruling or not qualifying for nomination or the resignation of the majority of their council members.
