The Central Elections Commission (CEC) announces the end of application submission period for participating in the training designed for qualifying electoral cadres under the project “Capacity Building of Elections Cadre 2024”, funded by the EU. Project implementation will start in the upcoming months of September and October throughout the West Bank governorates, and Jerusalem.

The Central Elections Commission (CEC) announced the start of receiving project proposals from civil society organizations (CSOs) in the West Bank. The project “Partnership with CSOs 2024-2025” is funded by the EU and aims to activate the role of CSOs in enhancing political participation.

The Central Elections Commission (CEC) hosted the meeting of “National Spatial Data Infrastructure” project working committee, attended by representatives and specialists in the area of maps and geographical data from all Ministries, local organizations, and interested private sector companies. The meeting aims to establish a national system for maps and a database for the geospatial information systems in Palestine, to organize the collection, sharing and development of this information and data, prevent repetition and organize access permissions for organizations and individuals.
