CEC Chairman meets with the Russian Ambassador

CEC Chairman, Dr. Hanna Nasir, received today the Head of the Russian Federation Representative Office to the State of Palestine, Ambassador Aidar Aganin at CEC premises in Al-Bireh.

The meeting attended by CEO, Hisham Kuhail and Deputy CEO, Ashraf Shuaibi discussed latest preparations for the upcoming Local Elections scheduled on 13 May 2017.

Dr. Nasir presented his guest with an official invitation to observe the upcoming elections, expressing hope for international observation missions to participate in elections observation.

On his part, Mr. Aganin expressed his appreciation to the work of the Commission and the invitation to monitor elections which indicates the transparency of CEC’s work and procedures
