After reviewing the amended Basic Law and its further amendments, the provisions of the Law in Decree No.

1. of 2007 pertaining to general elections and based on the powers invested in us, and for the sake of public interest,

   We hereby issue the following decree

   Article (1)

   The Central Elections Commission shall be reconfirmed and comprised as follows:
   1. Dr. Hanna Nasir as President of the Commission
   2. Dr. Rami Hamdallah as Secretary General of the Commission
   3. Judge Ishac Muhanna as Member
   4. Judge As’ad Moubarak as Member
   5. Judge Iman Nasser Eddin as Member
   6. Judge Abdallah Gazlan as Member
   7. Judge Mazin Sisalem as Member
   8. Judge Sa’ada al-Dajani as Member
   9. Dr. Mohammad Nasser as Member

Article (2)

The above commission shall be responsible for administering, supervising, preparing for and organizing elections and shall undertake any necessary procedures to ensure electoral integrity and freedom according to the provisions of the law.

Article (3)

All competent authorities, each within its own jurisdiction, shall implement this decree. The decree shall enter into force from the date of issue and shall be published in the Official Gazette.
