The CEC discusses with local CSOs the second stage of the project ‘enhancing Palestinian electoral participation’

28 July -Ramallah: The CEC met today with representatives of local CSOs participating in the project ‘enhancing Palestinian electoral participation’ funded by the Italian Cooperation office in Jerusalem.

The meeting explored the possibility of implementing the second stage of the project which includes implementing elections awareness projects targeting mainly youth, women and political parties.

This stage comes in continuation of the first stage of the project launched last September where representatives from 28 CSOs were selected and trained to deliver training workshops on elections in the West Bank.

The aim of the project is to build the capacities of local CSOs and encourage a wider public participation in future elections.
