The CEC participates in the ACEEEO 26th annual conference

The CEC participated in the 26^th annual conference of the Association of European Election Officials, entitled ‘Conscious voters in the digital age’, which was held in Sofia, Bulgaria earlier this month.

The conference, which was attended by the Commission’s CEO and member of the executive office of the Arab Elections Management Bodies, Mr. Hisham Kuhail, discussed the role of elections administrations in voter education. Mr. Kuhail presented Palestine’s experience in this field and the strategic interventions the CEC undertakes during and in between electoral events.

The conference aimed at providing a platform for election experts, professionals and academics to present the various utilizations of digital communication in voter awareness and education in general and reaching new voters in particular.
