CEC Chairman heads the delegation of the Arab EMBs to the Jordanian Municipal and Governorate Council Elections

CEC Chairman, Dr. Hanna Nasir, headed the delegation of the mission of the Arab Elections Management Bodies (Arab EMBs) to the Jordanian Municipal and Governorate Council Elections conducted Tuesday.

The delegation includes representatives of elections commissions from various Arab countries and aims at enabling elections management bodies to network and exchange elections expertise. The organized visit program seeks to review the key aspects of the political and electoral reform in Jordan and the phases of the electoral process.  

The mission met with the Chairman of the Jordanian Independent Elections Commission, Dr. Khalid Kaladeh, the head of the Arab EMBs executive office, Dr. Zuhair Abu Faris, and the Secretary General of the Arab EMBs, Ms. Badriyah Al Balbisi.

The Mission also visited a number of polling centers in various governorates to review the progress of the elections.
