A presidential decree on the appointment of a new Secretary- General and Commissioner to the CEC

Monday, October 26, 2015 Mr. President, Mahmoud Abbas, has issued yesterday a presidential decree appointing Ms. Lamis al –Alami as the new Secretary- General of the Elections Commission succeeding Mr. Samih Shubaib who resigned earlier this month. The decree also appoints Dr. Khawla Shakhsheer as Commissioner.
