The CEC conducts training for West Bank district staff

In preparations for the nomination phase scheduled from 1-10 September, the CEC commenced yesterday two- day training for district staff in Ramallah.

The training which targeted 68 staff from across the West Bank districts focused on procedures of nomination and processing of nomination applications, the legal framework governing the work of the commission during elections and the elections timeline.

Another training for political parties representatives on nomination procedures and formation of electoral lists will be conducted in the coming days.

It should be indicated that these trainings are part of a series of training sessions the CEC will continue to hold over the next period for election stakeholders in preparations for the upcoming local elections scheduled on October 20th.
