Presidential Decree No. (14) of 2005
Concerning the Number of Legislative Council Members in the Electoral Districts
Chairman of the PLO’s Executive Committee
President of the Palestinian National Authority,
After reviewing Article (3 paragraph 2) of the General Elections Law of 2005, and the data of the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics as well as the statistics of the Central Elections Commission,
Based on the powers vested in us and for the sake of public interest,
We hereby issue the following:
Article (1)
The number of Legislative Council members in the sixteen electoral districts enshrined in Article 2/A of the General Elections Law of 2005, shall be distributed according to their populations as follows:

Article (2)
All competent authorities, each within its own jurisdiction, shall implement the provisions of this Decree, which shall enter into force upon its issuance, and shall be published in the Official Gazette.
