Campaigning for the 2017 complementary local elections ends Thursday

The CEC announces that Thursday, 27th of July is the last day for elections campaigning activities which commenced on July 15th according to elections law and published timeline. The CEC calls upon electoral lists, candidates and the media to refrain from publishing any campaigning material after the specified date and to adhere to the campaigning regulations and the law. Accordingly, violating lists or candidates will be subject to legal accountability. The elections day for the 2017 complementary local elections is set to take place on Saturday, 29 July 2017. Polling centers across 14 localities in the West Bank will be open from 7:00 am until 7:00 pm to allow around 43 thousand registered voters to cast their votes.
