The Central Elections Commission (CEC) announces its need to fill the position of Head of International Relations Section at its headquarters in Al-Bireh, based on the following requirements:

 

Job Description:

Works under the supervision of the Director of Public Relations Department to accomplish the following tasks:

  • Establishing and maintaining communication with donors, regional and international partners, and providing regular briefings on the CEC’s mandate and activities.
  • Building and strengthening networks with international donor organizations.
  • Preparing and submitting project proposals to donors in English.
  • Drafting and developing periodic progress reports on ongoing projects, while managing various donor requirements and modalities.
  • Receiving international delegations and facilitating their mission/s.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in International Relations, Political Science, Development Studies, or a related field.
  • A minimum of five years of practical experience in international relations, project proposal writing, and reporting.
  • Proven experience working on EU-funded projects.
  • Ability to contribute to the development of funding and technical proposals using the logical framework approach.
  • Excellent command of the English language (spoken and written).
  • Strong writing and editing skills in both Arabic and English.
  • Proficiency in the use of smart technologies and digital tools.
  • Ability to assume responsibilities and commence duties promptly.
