CEC Chairman meets with Mr. President

CEC Chairman, Dr. Hanna Nasir met today with Mr. President, Mahmoud Abbas, at the President's office in Ramallah.

During the meeting, Mr. President referred to the Constitutional Court's recent ruling concerning the holding of legislative elections.

In this context, Dr. Nasir stressed CEC's readiness to hold elections once a presidential decree is issued according to elections law which entitles the President to call for elections and set the elections date.
