The CEC is ready for local elections as soon as the decision is made to conduct it

The Central Elections Commission (CEC) is closely following up the developments relevant to conducting local elections in the Gaza Strip. The CEC confirms its readiness for conducting these elections, once the Council of Ministers issues a decision determining its date, knowing that calling for elections falls under the jurisdiction of the Council of Ministers according the local elections law.
