CEC Chairman meets with Nikolai Mladinov

CEC Chairman, Dr. Hanna Nasir, met today with Mr. Nikolai Mladinov, the United Nations Special Coordinator for the Middle East Peace Process at CEC’s Headquarters in Al-Bireh.

The meeting discussed the latest developments in Palestine in light of talks about holding legislatives elections in the Palestinian territories.

Dr. Nasir briefed Mr. Mladinov on the meetings held by the CEC with representatives of political parties in the West Bank as well as its intention to continue such meetings with factions in the Gaza Strip. The meeting also discussed the possibility of the United Nations cooperation with the CEC in all technical and political aspects for the success of any upcoming elections.
