Nomination for the 2017 complementary elections ends tomorrow

The CEC announces that tomorrow is the last day for nomination for the 2017 complementary local elections which commenced Saturday, June 10th. CEC district offices will continue receiving nomination applications until 2:00 p.m tomorrow in the 70 localities in which elections will be held on July 29th.

The CEC will meet on Tuesday to review and process the submitted nomination applications according to law and will publish the preliminary register of electoral lists and candidates to allow citizens to review the data and submit objections to nominations within three days
