The CEC receives a delegation from the Organization of Islamic Cooperation

CEC Chairman, Dr. Hanna Nasir and Commissioners, Mr. Shukri Nashashibi and Dr. Khawla Al-Shakhsher received today members of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) at CEC’s media center.

Mr. Shakir Al-Mashadani headed the OIC delegation which also included members of the OIC General Secretariat, Mr. Adel Salama and Mr. Jakhongir Khasanov in addition to the head of the OIC office in Palestine, Mr. Ahmad Al-Ruwaidi and members, Mr. Ali Safi and Mr. Shadeed Awaida.

CEC Chairman briefed the delegation on the progress of elections and welcomed their presence as observers to the ongoing electoral process. Dr. Nasir also discussed CEC’s arrangements to facilitate the mission of local and international observers to ensure the integrity and transparency of the electoral process.

On their part, the delegation expressed their appreciation to CEC’s efforts and the facilitations provided and confirmed their readiness to observe the electoral event.
