The CEC conducts training workshops for political parties in Gaza

Today, the CEC commenced a two-day training session for political party representatives in Gaza aiming at enhancing their knowledge about electoral processes and increasing the level of participation in future elections. This workshop is one of three planned workshops that will be conducted soon with participation of representatives of political factions from all districts.

The training comes out of CEC’s belief in the importance of the role political parties as a key election stakeholder and to maintain open channel of communication with them. It should be indicated that the workshops are conducted through a UNDP funded program to buttress the capacity of the CEC where it supported similar workshops organized last year.
