Courts dismiss all appeals against local election results
Bethlehem Court of First Instance dismissed an appeal against local election results in Bethlehem, thus raising the number of dismissed appeals to 8.
As a result, the CEC officially announces that all preliminary results previously published are final.
The CEC has issued 93 winning certificates for the localities in which elections were held and handed them over to the Ministry of Local Governance as well as 179 certificates for the lists which won by acclamation. By this the CEC has successfully completed the first stage of local elections and in the process to finalizing arrangements for the Complementary Elections to be held on 24 November 2012.
