The CEC meets with the Elections Reform Support Group (ERSG)

As part of its periodic meetings with donors, CEC Chairman, Dr. Hanna Nassir, met today with members of the ERSG at the CEC’s headquarters in Ramallah.

The meeting tackled issues related to future local and general elections if announced within the application of the terms of the national reconciliation agreement, projects the CEC is currently implementing as well as CEC’s day to day activities.

On their part, participants stressed on the importance of CEC’s role in enhancing the values of democracy and free political and civic participation among Palestinian community.

It’s worth mentioning that this meeting comes as part of CEC’s regular meetings with various election stakeholders to keep them updated of its work and activities.
