The CEC announces the legal period of voter registration for the upcoming local elections

9 August, Ramallah- Today, the Central Elections Commission (CEC) announced that voter registration, exhibition and challenge period for the upcoming local election scheduled on 22 October will be conducted from August 13-17. Registration centers in 295 localities across the West Bank will be open from 9:00 am till 2:00 pm.

The registration exercise is an integral part of the electoral process to reach a comprehensive and accurate voter’s registry that forms the basis for a free and fair elections.

The CEC aims at registering unregistered voters and enabling those who are already registered from updating their data and object to the registration of other voters.
