14 February, Ramallah - The Chairman of the Central Elections Commission (CEC), Dr. Hanna Nasir, received the Egyptian Ambassador to the Palestinian National Authority, Mr. Yasser Osman, at the CEC headquarters today. Dr. Nasir briefed Mr. Osman on the CEC’s preparations for the upcoming local elections. Dr. Nasir also discussed the general political atmosphere and national reconciliation issues.
The meeting was also attended by the Egyptian Consul General, Mr. Jamal Atta, and the Commission’s CEO, Mr. Hisham Kuhail, and Deputy CEO, Mr. Ashraf Shuaibi.
