The CEC conducted a training course in Jerusalem as part of the project “ Capacity Building of Elections Cadre” which targets Ministry of Education employees. The training was conducted over a period of four days.
The CEC is conducted 15 training courses for 300 of the Ministry’s employees which was implemented throughout the West Bank. The training course discussed the basics of successful training, Palestinian elections laws, electoral systems in general and the electoral system in Palestine in particular, different phases of the electoral process, allocation of PLC seats and proclamation of results.
This project is funded by the Norwegian government and in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, the project is implemented throughout the West Bank including Jerusalem and aims at building the capacity of election cadre.
