In cooperation with the Ministry of Education and Higher Education CEC launched a training workshop as part of the project “Enhancing Elections Education in Schools 2008” which is funded by the Future Foundation. The project will be implemented from November 3rd till December 18th 2008 in (107) schools around the West Bank.
The project will target ninth grade students by giving them a theoretical explanation about the electoral process and then holding a simulation of the electoral process.
The training sessions focused on the electoral law, electoral system, electoral process phases and how to provide the theoretical explanation for students to conduct simulation of the electoral process.
