The CEC participates in Palestine Information and technology exhibition (Expo Tech 2006) during the period of 6-8th of November, 2006 at Al- Bireh Municipality Halls.
The CEC participates in the exhibition through Intertech, the company that designed the CEC website. The CEC aims from this participation to promote its website by introducing the exhibition visitors to the services provided by the web such as the "Find your polling center service " that allows registered voters to check their polling centers by entering the number of ID card or the registration slip and the year of birth. The CEC website also contains an electronic program for the allocation of seats obtained by each list according to the Saint Lague method.
The exhibition witnessed a huge attendance by visitors who visited the CECzzz*zs stand and requested information about the website, its content and services. Visitors also checked their registration and polling centers through the website.
The CEC wishes from this participation to introduce the Palestinian public and elections stakeholders with all the information, statistics and results, publications pertaining to the Presidential, Legislative and Local elections that they can find on the CEC website. Also, by subscribing to the CEC mailing list, subscribers will get the latest Cec news and announcements. Through the website, journalists and media representatives may submit their accreditation applications to the CEC and will be issued Media accreditation cards based on the applications submitted online. The website provides all elections stakeholders whether they are voters, observers, political parties or candidates with all elections information they need.
