The Central Elections Commission announced today that voter turnout at the end of the final day of early voting for security officers reached 92.1% (91.3% in the West Bank and 92.7 % in the Gaza Strip).
During the three days of early voting, which was conducted on the 21, 22 and 23 of January, a total of 54,082 votes were cast (20,640 in the West Bank and 33,442 in the Gaza strip).
The highest number of votes was cast in the district if Gaza City were 10,548 security officers voted. The highest turnout rate was in the district of Rafah were 95.1 % of security officers voted while the lowest turnout was in the district of Ramallah and Al-Bireh were only 85.3% cast their ballots.
