The Central Elections Commission (CEC), represented by its Chairman, Dr. Rami Hamdallah, received Al-Haq's report on observing the 2026 Local Elections, during a meeting held at the CEC HQ with Al-Haq's General Director, Mr. Shawan Jabarin.
Dr. Hamdallah expressed the CEC's appreciation of Al-Haq's efforts in observing the local elections, emphasizing the importance of the role of civil society organizations (CSOs) in enhancing transparency and consolidating the principles of integrity and accountability of the electoral process.
On the other hand, Mr. Shawan Jabrin handed the report over to the CEC, presenting the key comments and recommendations resulting from electoral process, affirming Al-Haq's keenness to continue cooperating with the CEC in a manner that contributes to improving the electoral process and strengthening confidence in thereof.
