Al-Bireh – The Central Elections Commission (CEC) announced continuing to train the staff who will be working as part of its teams on polling day, who have reached 10233 staff members (F/M) in the West Bank and 675 in Deir al-Balah.
The CEC clarified that most of the working staff are comprised of faculty members from the Ministry of Education, who, next Saturday; the day scheduled for conducting local elections in 183 local authorities, will be responsible for managing the polling process, facilitating citizen participation, conducting procedures in due diligence, and guaranteeing integrity and transparency.
Furthermore, the CEC indicated continuing to train its teams until the end of current week, emphasizing that these teams will manage 1922 polling stations, with 100 in Deir al-Balah.
The CEC mentioned previously training 231 supervisors, including those in Deir al-Balah, who are currently responsible for training all polling staff, to guarantee their readiness as per the highest degree of professionalism and competence to manage polling day and interact with voters inside polling centers and stations.
