The Central Elections Commission (CEC) announced today, that electoral campaigning will commencing starting tomorrow morning; Friday, April 14, according to the table of legal periods associated with the stages of the electoral process.
The CEC invited electoral lists and candidates to fully adhere to the provisions and regulations of electoral campaigning, in accordance with the law and regulating guidelines, in a manner that guarantees equal opportunities before all competitors.
The CEC emphasized that electoral campaigning, continuing until the evening of April 23, is considered a key milestone of the democratic process, allowing candidates to present their electoral programs (agendas) to the public and ask for their votes, meanwhile allowing voters to explore such programs and take an informed decision freely.
The CEC affirmed the importance of adherence to electoral campaigning regulations to enhance the integrity of the electoral process and maintain a competitive environment based on respect and rule of law.
