The Central Elections Commission (CEC), shared today; Wednesday, commencing the training program targeting 243 trainers to supervise staff work on polling day, under its preparations for conducting the local elections scheduled for Saturday, April 25, 2026.
The CEC indicated that the training includes the qualification of cadres to execute supervisory and operational tasks, including the training of polling staff, expected to exceed 10 thousand personnel (F/M), to guarantee staff readiness to execute their electoral tasks competently and efficiently.
The CEC further clarified that the training is conducted in all electoral districts, commencing today, and tomorrow in Nablus and Hebron, and continuing on Saturday and Sunday for Ramallah & Al-Bireh, Bethlehem and Jenin. The training will continue in the remaining electoral districts until April 14.
The CEC emphasized that the training aims to enable participants to be fully informed of the procedures, laws, and regulations governing polling day, in a manner that guarantees the execution of their tasks accurately and in a timely manner, enhancing the integrity and proper conduct of the electoral process.
