The CEC Publishes the Final Voters’ Registry for the Local Authorities where Elections will take place.

Tuesday, March 10, 2026

The Central Elections Commission (CEC), announced today, Tuesday, publishing the final voters’ registry via its official website. This step aims to facilitate access of candidates and interested people to the registry, enhancing transparency of the electoral process.

The CEC mentioned publishing the registry online as part of its ongoing efforts to facilitate all obstacles that might face candidates, whether as part of an electoral list or as individuals, while enabling them to review the final version of voters names in local authorities.

Regarding the registry’s displayed content, the CEC clarified that it will be limited to voter’s name and the polling center where his/her name is listed only, in order to maintain the privacy and confidentiality of voter’s information. Furthermore, the CEC indicated that the published registry is divided as per the local authorities where elections will be running in each electoral district.

The CEC confirmed the availability of the voters’ registry on its website is part of its policy aiming to advance online services and enhance the use of technology in the management of electoral processes, in a way that guarantees the availability of electoral information and easy access to it.

Moreover, the CEC indicated that the final registry was approved after passing through all stages and procedures enshrined by the law, including the updating of the preliminary voters’ registry, and its exhibition for challenges, in addition to registering unregistered voters, all the way through to the approval of the final registry.

The CEC added that the registry will remain published on its website (elections.ps) throughout the remaining stages of the 2026 Local Elections, allowing candidates and interested people to examine and benefit from it.
