The Chairman of the Central Elections Commission (CEC), Dr. Rami Hamdallah received today, Monday, the Director of Military Coordination, Brigadier Naser Al-Borini, at the CEC headquarters in Al-Bireh, in the frame of the ongoing preparations for conducting the 2026 Local Elections.
The meeting discussed means of coordination and cooperation between both institutions, especially after announcing the call for commencing local elections scheduled for April 25, 2026.
Moreover, Dr. Hamdallah emphasized the importance of partnership and complementarity among all institutions interested in guaranteeing a smooth electoral process throughout its stages and across all local authorities in the West Bank.
