The Central Elections Commission (CEC) has conducted the first round of its training program tailored to advance the capacities of its staff.
The training was held in Ramallah over the course of three days with the participation of 24 employees from the CEC's staff working in different departments of its HQ as well as the electoral district offices.
In this training, funded by the UNDP, the participants were introduced to topics related to aspects of CEC's work during elections, especially how to assess needs and tackle challenges and risks facing the management of elections.
It is worth mentioning that the training program will be implemented over three rounds, covering topics like transparency, integrity, working with partners, and skills related to leadership, building a team, handling pressure, communication and networking, using the support of external experts and trainers.
