According to the legal elections timeline, all campaigning activities should be concluded by today midnight. On this occasion, the CEC urges candidates and media representatives to refrain from publishing any election related material after this date in compliance with the law and elections campaigning regulations.
In another context, the CEC will transfer today ballots and polling boxes from CEC’s warehouses to the warehouses of the eleven electoral districts to be moved tomorrow to polling centers.
It should be indicated that Saturday, 22 December 2012 is the polling day for complementary local elections. Polling centers in 24 Local communities will be open from 7:00 am till 7:00 pm. The CEC calls on voters to head for polling stations to choose their representatives in the local councils.
