A statement by the CEC on the resumption of complementary elections

Saturday, December 15, 2012

On its weekly session No 29 of 12 December 2012, the Cabinet decided to hold complementary elections on Saturday, 22 December 2012 in all remaining localities except for the local councils of Dora, Deir Razih and Khorsa until a judicial decision is issued on this regard. Accordingly, the CEC announces that nominated lists, except those nominated for the said councils, may commence electoral campaigning activities as of today until Thursday, 20 December 2012.
