In preparations for the upcoming local elections scheduled on 20 October 2012, the CEC held today a centralized training in Ramallah for West Bank district staff.
The training which targeted 57 staff members focused on the legal procedures governing the work of the Commission as well as the elections timeline.
CEO Hisham Kuhail opened the training by welcoming new staff members and stressing their role in ensuring the success of the electoral process.
This training comes as part of a series of sessions which will be conducting over the next period in preparations for the upcoming local elections. Next training is scheduled to take place on August 5 and will target registration supervisors and staff.
