The CEC and the Palestinian Anti-Corruption Commission Sign a Memorandum of Cooperation

The Central Elections Commission (CEC) signed today a memorandum of Cooperation with the Palestinian Anti-Corruption Commission (PACC). CEC Chairman, Dr. Hanna Nasir, welcomed the PACC initiative and the efforts exerted in the service of the Palestinian community. On his part, Dr. Ahmad Barak, President of PACC, stressed the importance of cooperation between the two Commissions in executing the national strategy for enhancing integrity and combating corruption. The memorandum included the development of CEC plan for the implementation of the national strategy for enhancing integrity and combating corruption 2020, provision of training and awareness workshops for CEC staff on corruption combat, conducting studies on the electoral environment in Palestine and cooperation with regards to financial disclosure statements for CEC staff.
