The CEC issues the 2017 local elections report

The CEC published today the 2017 local elections report through its webpage. Hardcopies of the report will be printed and distributed within two weeks to official and civic organizations as well as to local authorities.

The report consists of 11 chapters and covers all aspects, phases and data relevant to the latest local elections conducted in the West Bank during the months of May and July 2017. The report also presents information about the CEC, and includes elections decrees, regulations, codes of conduct governing the process.

This report is intended to serve as a documentation of the electoral process in accordance with the principles of transparency, professionalism and integrity which governs CEC’s work and also as a comprehensive resource of electoral information to citizens, political parties and stakeholders.
