The CEC meets with the Elections Sector Working Group

The CEC held today a regular meeting with the Elections Sector Working Group (ERSG) at CEC’s premises in Al-Bireh.

The CEC Chairman, Dr. Hanna Nasir, updated donors of the latest developments concerning CEC’s work, in particular CEC’s contracting an external audit company to oversee its work and expenditure as well as CEC’s participation as an observation mission to the upcoming elections in Tunisia.

On his part, CEO Hisham Kuhail, discussed CEC’s current projects related to the enabling of People with Disabilities, the election course which was developed and currently being taught in four Palestinian universities, as well as the Arab Elections Network which the CEC is currently co-founding.

It should be indicated the ERSG is formed of CEC’s donors and hold regular meetings to discuss latest elections developments in Palestine.
