The Chairman of the Central Elections Commission (CEC), Dr. Rami Hamdallah, received today, Monday, the General Director of the Palestinian Police, Major General Allam Al-Saqqa, at the CEC headquarters in Al-Bireh, in the frame of the ongoing preparations for conducting the fifth local elections in Palestine.

The Central Elections Commission (CEC), led by its Chairman, Dr. Rami Hamdallah, convened a meeting today, Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at CEC HQ in Al-Bireh via videoconference, with its commissioners abroad, to discuss the latest updates concerning the organization and conducting of the fifth local elections, scheduled for April 25, 2026

The Elections Sectorial Working Group (SWG) convened today, Wednesday, December 10, 2025, its regular meeting hosted by the Central Elections Commission (CEC) at its headquarters in Al-Bireh, chaired by Dr. Rami Hamdallah, CEC’s Chairman.

The Central Elections Commission (CEC) announced today, Thursday, the table of legal periods associated with the different stages of the 2026 local elections, in accordance with the Cabinet's decision, indicating the commencement of the electoral process on the upcoming April 25th.
