The CEC Chairman, Dr. Hanna Nassir, and the CEO Mr. Hisham Kuhail, met on Wednesday, October 10, 2007 with the Elections Reform and Support Group (E-RSG) at the CEC Headquarters in Ramallah within the CECzzz*zs periodical meetings with the donors.
During the meeting, Dr. Nassir explored the CECzzz*zs plans and proposed budget for the next three years. He also acquainted the donors with the current activities and projects of the Commission such as the project of "enhancing elections education in schools" which the CEC is now preparing for.
Dr. Nassir also praised the role of the donors in supporting the CEC to make of it a permanent body and maintain its integrity and impartiality.
On their part, the donors expressed their willingness to continue their support to the CEC as independent democratic institution and stressed the importance of supporting the CECzzz*z plans and projects.
