Last Sunday, the CEC commissioners convened in Ramallah and Gaza through Video conference. The meeting was headed by the CEC Chairman Dr. Hanna Nassir and in the presence of the CEO Mr. Hisham Kuhail. The Commissioners welcomed the new CEO and expressed their wishes for him in the successful management of the organization. On his part, Mr. Kuhail thanked the commissioners for their trust.
The meeting discussed the local elections issue. The CEO confirmed that a whole new file will be prepared during the next month for the final round of the local elections. The commissioners also discussed the CECzzz*zs archiving system for the aim of maintaining the CECzzz*zs documents and facilitating the access to such documents. This comes as part the plan aiming at keeping the CEC as a permanent national institution.
Its worth mentioning that the CEC publishes all sessionzzz*zs minutes on its website in order to maintain the high level of transparency.
