57.6% turnout until 4 pm

Voting for the second Palestinian legislative elections commenced today at 7:00 am. The CEC is operating 1,008 polling centers in the 16 electoral districts that contain 2,721 polling stations. By 4:00 pm, the voter turnout had reached 57.6%. Tubas' electoral district had the highest voting percentage which reached 66.3 %. The total number of voters in all the West Bank districts is 430,439 or 54.6%, while the total number of voters in Gaza's electoral districts now stands at 303,260, or 62.5% of the total number of registered voters.

The total number of voters in the Jerusalem suburbs has reached 14,662 voters out of 47,742, i.e., 30.7%. The total number of East Jerusalem voters who cast their votes at the 14 special polling centers established for them by the CEC in the suburbs of Jerusalem stands at 8,885 voters.
