The Elections Court adjudicates on an appeal for the Registration Exhibition and Challenge Period

The Elections Court adjudicated on an appeal submitted against the CEC’s decision regarding the Registration, Exhibition and Challenge period for the “Second Phase” of the Local Elections. 
The Elections Court committee in Ramallah received one submitted appeal regarding the transfer of a citizen’s registration location from one locality to another, and adjudicated to reject it. 
The CEC clarified that by the end of the electoral challenge period for the Voter’s registry; CEC staff will process the registry’s data and remove the deceased from the final voter’s registry. Upon which, all other electoral processes will accordingly be conducted. More specifically: Polling and Nomination; which will start next Tuesday 08/02/2022 and will last for 10 days, ending on Thursday evening 17/02/2022.
It is worthy of mentioning that polling for the (Second Phase) of the Local Elections is scheduled for 26/03/2022 in 102 localities in the West Bank.
