CEC commenced today; Monday the training of supervisors for the registration Exhibition and Challenge period for the (Second Phase) of the local Elections. This period is scheduled to launch next Saturday 08/01/2022, and will last for 5 days.
The CEC clarified that 70 employees participated in these training sessions, which will last until tomorrow; Tuesday in the CEC’s headquarters in Al Bireh – Ramallah. The online and in person registration process and its conditions as well as the duties of CEC staff were explained and clarified in these sessions. In addition to clarifying the publishing process of the preliminary Voter’s Registry, receiving objections, reporting and replying to them.
During the registration exhibition and challenge period, participants will supervise the work of CEC staff, voter’s registration centers, exhibiting the Voter’s Registry, and receiving objections. Which will be happening in all localities where the (Second phase) of the Local Elections will take place on 26/03/2022.
