The CEC Invites CSOs to submit Project Proposals

The Central Elections Commission (CEC) announced today the commencement of receiving project proposals from Civil Society Organization (CSOs) in the West Bank and Gaza Strip as part of an EU funded project for 2020-2021 to consolidate partnership with CSOs.

The project is based on competition among CSOs to obtain funds to implement projects in democracy and political participation over six month period. The CEC will select a number of successful projects according to a set of criteria for both participant CSOS and proposed projects.

Interested CSOs are expected to submit concept papers no later than 30 August 2020.

It should be indicated that this project is the fourth in a series of similar projects the CEC implemented over the past ten years with funds from several donors for the aim of encouraging CSOs to take part in encouraging political participation among various stakeholders.
